Sara Oliveira is a Portuguese-Brazilian director and animator from Porto. She holds a degree in Multimedia from ESMAD and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Sound and Image, specialising in Animation, at the School of Arts of UCP.

She works across drawing, collage, painting and sound, blending digital and traditional techniques. Her work explores themes of alienation, repetition and metamorphosis, through textured, dreamlike images. She is interested in the space between the personal and the collective, and in the symbols that connect them.
